Monday's Funnies

Dear Family and Friends, Today was slightly cooler than recently but started sunny and clouded up later. We visited a garden centre this morning, herself won new plants, my prize coffee and scone! Home for lunch, and in the pm we finished series 2 of 'A Discovery of Witches'. Here are a few more pictures that hopefully will raise a smile!

From quite a long time ago!

My kind of guy!

In 1962 John Potter, a thatcher in Pebmarsh, Essex,

bought a 1949 Allard for £15, but he couldn't afford the £40

for a replacement hood, so he thatched it.

That Ta Da moment!

Imaginative flip-flops!

It's interesting to note that the brave warrior's helmet is a pumpkin!

Novel statue!

A metaphor for American health!

He's behind you!

It's called 'Pipelining'!

He thinks that you're a tree!

It's called a climbing wall.......terrifying!

Clever wall art!

Coloured pencil art!

Nice! But no unicorns!

I don't think he really wanted to do that!

She has either very flexible joints, or her head's on the wrong way round!

Another Great Truth!

Norwegian wooden churches are wonderful!

At first I thought it was an oyster!

Too many guns in America!

There was an old Finnish guy on the net who used his 50 ton press
to squash all manner of things. Maybe this is one of his!
