Dear Family and Friends, The heatwave is slowly moving away, but it's still hot. I walked to the beach – as you do – and it was windy, but even the wind was hot! I arrived home like a grease spot but soon cooled down. There were antics upstairs where the wind blew a shutter, which in turn pushed a carafe of water onto the floor, smashing it. By the time we had found all the broken glass and mopped up the water, it was lunchtime! Now for your specially selected funnies!

In this heat, a little waft 'down there' sometimes helps!
Dear Family and Friends, It was another hottie, but not as hot as yesterday. Last night was a challenge; even with the ceiling fan going full blast, it was sticky. I again wimped out of a walk and did exercises instead. PM, we watched the last episodes of 'The Mentalist' Series 2. Now I will do my best to find yet more of the newest and best of what the Web has to offer for your entertainment!
Dear Family and Friends, Today was phenomenal! We had 33°C. Bearing in mind we are close to the sea, I have to say I don't think I have experienced such heat here in my lifetime. It follows, therefore, that we stayed indoors today. I did a bit of archiving on my computer this morning, and in the PM we watched more 'The Mentalist'. Now I have dug up sufficient pictures for your weekend pleasure, and I hope very much that you enjoy them!
Cool thoughts!
