Dear Family & Friends, We had 26mm of rain in 24 hours! For us in the driest corner of England that is rather a lot! Nothing however compared with the poor souls in the North and West. On a lighter note I found a few more ephemeral items for your delectation!

4. On a serious note with my Security hat on, there was a Botnet set up by alleged Russian criminals. The FBI have busted it and are about (on the 9th) to shut down their servers. If unbeknown to you your DNS has been compromised you could lose Internet. There is a simple check that you can make to check if you are OK, just follow this link....HERE
