Monday's Funnies

Dear Family and Friends, Today was sunny but with a North wind, the temperature is slowly dropping 12c. I walked to the beach and as far as I could see everything in the harbour was satisfactory, the ferry was departing and a huge dredger was coming in. We ventured to Poplar nurseries, had a drink and a scone, but as far as plants were concerned the didn't have what we wanted, so we will wait until spring. Now for a few more bits and bobs just for you!

BTW I was very surprised to see that the blog had 11,284 hits yesterday - for me a new record!

Sunday's Funnies

Dear Family and Friends, Today was markedly cooler than yesterday. That suits me fine, on my walk to the beach - I didn't overheat for the first time in months! My first job was to replace the flag which had become shredded by recent winds, I have to stitch it to a bolt rope as the cloth is flimsy, only when I hoisted it did I notice that it's upside down! That BTW is a signal of distress! :-). Later I made a start on my new model boat, which was a birthday present. It took more than an hour to check the inventory of all the tiny components! Hoping I live long enough to finish it! Here are your funnies!

The Good 'ol Boys!
