Saturday's Funnies

Dear Family and Friends, Today was the hottest so far, I walked to the beach, but it was even hot near the water, and I arrived home like an oil slick. It took a while to cool down, and I must confess much of the day was spent cowering in the air conditioned living room. PM we started watching 'Slow Horses', about some inept MI5 officers. There are four series each of six episodes, so that will keep us out of mischief for a while. Now for more fun stuff especially for you!

Your Weekend Funnies

Dear Family and Friends, Today was even hotter. I decided not to walk, so launched into my challenge for the day which was to install a new loo seat. Problem 1 was to remove the old one. It was old and the hinges fixed to the pan were rusted solid. After a lot of sweating and searing they came off. Now the new one had different hinge pins and I discovered that one of the insertion plastics was snapped. What to do? I botched it with a piece of wire from a paper clip, and mercifully it worked! PM we slumped in front of the TV, and now at last here are your funnies!

Tip, do not try to arm wrestle a kangaroo!
