Dear Family and Friends, What a day! First a walk; it was cloudy and cool—so nice! Later, on a trip to the pharmacy, and on arriving home herself had fallen in the garden and grazed both arms and hurt her knee. Then the adventures began, attended the Harwich minor injuries unit, sorry closed due to staff shortages. So off to Clacton Hospital. Immediate triage and temporary bandages, then after about a two-hour wait, saw a very nice nurse, who dressed the wounds and recommended a knee X-ray. So off to X-ray, and after a short wait it was done. Then back to the nurse, who showed us the X-ray, bruising but nothing broken. Home at 1700, 3 and a half hours, but excellent service! Good old NHS! Here are your funnies.
If you remember this, you are a valued antique!
