Dear Family and Friends, It was slightly cooler today, with some clouds but still pleasant. We visited the opticians, and later put weed killer on the driveway. PM we collapsed in front of the TV. Now for more fun stuff especially for you!

A fine and dry day with light winds and plenty of sunshine, hazy at times. Very warm or hot though cooler along the Essex coastline and beaches. Thunderstorms then spread northwards during the evening and overnight, locally severe.
